Hi everyone! I just got back from a legal brothel in Nevada, where I’ve spent the past few days reporting on the inner workings of Sheri’s Ranch—an exclusive full-service “sex vacation destination” where I was invited to attend (and write about) a Roman Empire-themed sex party featuring decadent feasts, over-the-top entertainment, and a murder mystery dinner.

In March, Pleasure-Seeking went IRL with our first event: a sexy, steamy literary reading in an old-school Russian bathhouse. It sold out instantly and was dubbed “the hottest spot in town” by Page Six.
This time, we’re taking you even deeper into New York’s cultural underground with The Chelsea After Dark, a late-night literary salon held in one of the last permanent residences inside the Chelsea Hotel.
You’ll hear readings on desire from….
and of course, me.
Plus: an open bar, and burlesque performances by some of the sexiest, most creative people in NYC nightlife. My friend Caroline Caldwell will be giving tattoos, and award-winning artist Molly Crabapple will be capturing the night with a series of live drawings.
This is a side of the Chelsea few ever get to see. It’s going to be sexy, intimate, and very, very fun.
