Pleasure-Seeking’s next (and wildest) event
Burlesque, brawls & risqué readings in an iconic New York venue
If you know me in real life, you may have heard whispers: Pleasure-Seeking is having another event, and it’s our biggest and wildest one yet.
On Saturday, April 25th, we’re taking over a sprawling performance space in Chelsea and transforming it into a world of desire, sensuality, and spectacle. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure style journey across multiple floors—inside the former home of New York’s most legendary immersive theater show.
But instead of donning masks and wandering quietly through scenes, you’ll be turned loose inside Enemies to Lovers: a night of burlesque, brawls, and risqué readings on desire.
Upstairs in the Pleasure-Seeking lounge, burlesque royalty will entertain and titillate with boundary-pushing performances—in between steamy stories of sexual tension from our favorite writers in New York. I’m even teaming up with my friend Tom Frazier of Queer Punk Outlaws to stage real rivalries in the ring (yes, there will be a ring.)
Afterward, we’ll have an intimate late-night show with even more salacious acts. And all night, our hospitality partners at the Oberon Group will keep the drinks flowing and serve up an array of aphrodisiac-inspired eats.
Tickets drop Wednesday, April 1st at 3pm EST.
Enemies to Lovers
Saturday, April 25th, 6:30pm-late
530 W 27th St, New York, NY
Paid subscribers will be the first to receive the lineup and ticket link—so upgrade now to make sure you don’t miss it!
Pleasure-Seeking events have always sold out, with a 400-person waitlist for the bathhouse reading that Page Six called “the hottest spot in town.” The next one—an intimate literary salon at Hotel Chelsea—was just as unforgettable, and sold out even quicker.
Which means that you should set an alarm to check your inbox, and start sending this poster to your friends, enemies, and soon-to-be-lovers.
Thank you for being part of the Pleasure-Seeking community. I can’t wait to see you there.
xx Camille
