Hi everyone! Saturday night’s literary salon at the Chelsea Hotel was absolutely unforgettable, and I’m so grateful for all the Pleasure-Seeking readers who came out and made the evening so special. I literally got home at dawn and slept for 11 hours, so you can expect an event recap when I’ve recovered from my hangover—but in the meantime, I have another exciting announcement:
The brilliant
of Many Such Cases is joining me to record another episode of the Pleasure-Seeking video podcast TODAY, and we want to answer your questions on sex, love, and all things gender relations!Got a question for me and Magdalene? Submit it HERE TODAY by 3pm, and we’ll answer it on a 4pm livestream.
Magdalene is a really incisive thinker covering sexual culture from a bird’s eye view: from the gooning epidemic to the pervasive impact of iPhones and the tyranny of situationships. She’s been published in outlets like The New York Times, New York Magazine, GQ, and Playboy, where she’s currently Senior Editor.
Since it’s gonna be a little bit before the new video episodes are officially released, we’re going to try to livestream tomorrow’s recording for you guys. If it works out, I’ll try and do this regularly so you get IMMEDIATE ANSWERS to your most burning questions.

You may recall my last Pleasure-Seeking episode with Magdalene, recorded in January in my bedroom; since then, we’ve majorly upgraded the setup, and I can’t wait to have her back. I’ve been a longtime fan of her writing, and the two of us majorly bonded last year on a trip to Barcelona, where we were both flown out to cover a new exhibition by the feminist porn director Erika Lust (you can check out our podcast episode here, or read my piece on it for Hyperallergic.)

Can’t wait to hear your questions for Magdalene! And thank you guys, sincerely, for making our first salon such a success—it’s been really amazing to get to know you all better and hang in person, and I’m excited to foster this IRL community with more events like this. It sold out immediately, but if you missed the ticket drop, don’t despair; I’m hoping to make this an ongoing series, and if you upgrade your subscription to paid, you’ll get first access to tickets.
I’m cooking up more fun events for you soon—and who knows, maybe Magdalene and I will even collaborate on the next one ;)
XOXO,
Camille
I'm getting 150$ together so I can fully join! P
that was great guys, thanks for sharing a live!
